ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara kelentukan pergelangan tangan dan kecepatan reaksi tangan terhadap kemampuan pukulan forehand dan backhand pada permainan tenis meja Mahasiswa Penjaskesrek Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan menggunakan analisis regresi ganda dengan jumlah sampel 60 orang. Salah satu hipotesis penelitian adalah korelasi antara kelentukan pergelangan tangan dan kecepatan reaksi tangan terhadap kemampuan pukulan forehand dan backhand pada permainan tenis meja Mahasiswa Penjaskesrek FIK UNM.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut : 1) Ada hubungan yang signifikan kelentukan pergelangan tangan dengan kemampuan pukulan forehand dan backhand dengan nilai ro = 0.665 (P < 0.05), 2) Ada hubungan yang signifikan kecepatan reaksi tangan dengan kemampuan pukulan forehand dan backhand dengan nilai ro = 0.620 ( P < 0.05), 3) Ada hubungan yang signifikan kelentukan pergelangan tangan dan kecepatan reaksi tangan dengan kemarnpuan pukulan forehand dan backhand pada permainan teniss meja dengan nilai Ro = 0 .701 dengan Fo = 27.602 ( P < 0.05).
